This work depicts a new method incorporating a microfluidic device with single-cell scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM). By leveraging the “serpentine turn” line scanning modality, the approach overcomes the challenge of generating an electrochemical image with a relatively long time, thus providing an alternative way for studying the heterogeneity at the single-cell level in a high-content manner using SECM.
